Frost-Covered

Frosty Morning Frost-Covered and Sky Scribbles It was a foggy morning and I rushed out to capture the frost-covered surroundings before the sun burned it off. The fog soon disappeared and I had a few moments of taking photos of the trees, still frosted, but now against a brilliant blue backdrop. To me the tree tops look like sky scribbles.

Green Flowers

Green Flowers Our 5-year-old grandson went along with his Grandpa to select a floral bouquet. When asked what color he wanted to pick for the flowers, he without hesitation said, “green.” In most arrangements green is used for the stems and leaves and the flowers are assorted other colors. However, the clerk did find some green-tinged flowers to put in the bouquet which also had other colored flowers. Left up to our grandson, the flowers would all have been green! Besides green being his favorite color, he also knows about the environment and “going green.” It’s great to see the younger generation learning how to preserve our planet.
