From the beaches along the Atlantic to the water taxi sight-seeing along the Intracoastal Waterway, we had a winter getaway, escaping the extreme cold temperatures at home. We explored the everglade bogs, mangroves, and the Keys, including the charm of Key West. Homes and yachts of the "rich and famous" who lived along the Waterway caught our attention, as did the luxury apartments in Miami City. Expensive on a good day, and VERY expensive when the Super Bowl came to town.
