October Transitions

Fall Photo by Eunice Sloan

The month of October has come and gone for another year. Rain and snow; summer heat and the chill of fall. All serve to remind us of summer past and winter ahead. October is a transition month, preparing and acclimatizing us for the new season. In this photo, the mirrored walls shimmer and reflect the colorful trees in October. It is a Police Station under construction located across from the Young Offender Center. The Center is a place where transitions are made, a place for young people to reflect on their past and consider what lies ahead.
